You will visit three of the island’s world-renowned vineyards for wine tastings and a lunch stop at The Batch Winery, which boasts breathtaking 360-degree views of the Hauraki Gulf. From this vineyard, you can enjoy the stunning sights of Auckland and the iconic Rangitoto Volcano. During the tour, our local authentic Tour Guides will give engaging commentary and teach you about the Island the culture and the people of Waiheke. Our itinerary starts with tastings at 11 AM, followed by lunch (at your own expense) at a stunning venue, then we will head to Onetangi Valley for additional wine tastings. The grand finale will take place at The Mudbrick Vineyard. All vineyards offer breathtaking views, showcasing picturesque villages, beautiful beaches, lush vineyards, and charming homes.

This popular tour stops at 15 destinations so you can explore the island at your own pace, and includes return ferry tickets to and from the island. Upon arrival, exit Waiheke Island’s Mātiatia Ferry Terminal and catch the Hop-On Hop-Off Explorer Bus. The bus stops at a selection of top vineyards, restaurants, shops, art galleries, beaches and nature walks. Simply the very best tour on Waiheke! Catch the 0900[ be there 0830] ferry from downtown Auckland to the beautiful Waiheke Island, passing many beautiful islands on the way. Meet your guide at the ferry terminal where you will be taken on a day of exploring Waiheke island, visiting 3 boutique vineyards, with scenic stops all fully commentated by Waiheke island's best tour guide, then some free time in the bustling seaside village of Oneroa with a variety of shops, cafe's and restaurants, and transfers back to the ferry terminal 1600.

The tour commences with a drive along the scenic northern route, taking in spectacular views of the Hauraki Gulf and beyond to the Coromandel Peninsula. Along the way you will visit two vineyards for wine tasting and enjoy lunch and a glass of wine at the second stop. After lunch you will enjoy a scenic stop at Onetangi Beach and then if time allows, have a short stop in Oneroa village. You can make your own way back to the ferry when you are ready or alternatively the guide will return you to the Waiheke Wharf in time to catch the 5pm ferry back to Auckland.
