In our whisky distillery, watch our washbacks foaming and our copper stills bubbling as your guide highlights the different stages of scotch production. Following a tutored tasting of our single malt whisky, delve deeper into our methods of flavour creation through our careful selection of seasoned oak barrels from around the world.

Our unique 5-star tours, as awarded by the Scottish Tourism Board, offer the chance to explore and experience Scotland in the perfect setting. You will be accompanied by our knowledgeable guides who have a wealth of stories, myths and legends to entertain you with, and of course we welcome questions! We operate our tours on an 8-person capacity to allow you the freedom to spend more time 'sight-doing' as opposed to sight-seeing. Drink Tasmania’s full day Whisky Tour departs from Hobart and gives you the opportunity to visit 3 distilleries in a single day. While being driven and guided through spectacular Tasmanian landscapes from the Coal Valley to the Southern Midlands to the Tasmanian Highlands you'll be able to taste up to a dozen Tasmanian single malt whiskies and spirits, meet the whisky makers and to go behind the scenes of the distillation process. We visit different distilleries on different days of the week depending on availability, however we will always ensure we create the best and most diverse experience available for our guests on any given day. During your excursion, you will experience THREE Whisky distillery tours and tastings, we use five Distilleries and the three Distilleries visited on the day will depend on their availability. We will visit only 3 of the 5 mentioned** Your experienced driver has extensive knowledge of the surrounding areas and will point out various points of interest en-route. A guided tour of an award winning whisky distillery. This experience includes guided tasting of four single malt whiskies, the unique experience of comparing exactly what goes into the barrel and what comes out side by side. samling some local cheese including a rind whisky wash cheese! You will be invited to the still platfrom to get up close to the still, peer inside and savour the smells!
