• Aranui Cave has a natural cave entrance and is the smallest and most delicate of Waitomo’s three main caves. As a dry cave without a river running through it, it houses very little life past its entrance.
• Boat tour capacity is up to 23 people.
• Caves average at a temperature of 16-17 degrees Celsius year round.
• There is no wheelchair access at the Waitomo Glowworm Cave.
• The caves are accessible to those with reasonable mobility, as there are good handrails and paths.
