Itinerary
Day 1: Derby Prison Tree, Windjana Gorge and Tunnel Creek
Stop At: Tunnel Creek National Park, Leopold Downs Road King Leopold Ranges, Broome, Western Australia 6728 Australia
The first stop will be at the impressive Derby Prison Tree before continuing on to Windjana Gorge where your guide will tell you stories of Jandamarra and the Bunuba resistance. Afterwards, visit Tunnel Creek before making camp.

Stop At: Windjana Gorge National Park, Fairfield Leopold Downs Rd King Leopold Ranges, Flinders Ranges National Park, South Australia 6728 Australia

Day 2: Bell Gorge and Galvans or Adcock Gorge
Stop At: King Leopold Ranges Conservation Park, via Gibb River Road, 200 km east of Derby, Western Australia 6728 Australia
Today, start with a visit to the remarkable teared waterfall known as Bell Gorge in the King Leopold Conservation Park where you will have the opportunity to swim. In the afternoon, swim at either Galvans or Adcock Gorge depending on the seasonal conditions. The last stop for the day will be a bush camp.

Day 3: Manning gorge
Stop At: Manning Gorge, 4WD) Manning Rd Via Gibb River Road, Western Australia 6728 Australia
Start the day with a hike into Manning Gorge where you can swim as well as see the ancient Kimberley Bradshaw rock art and spot the Northern Red-Faced turtle. Continue along the Gibb to camp, taking some mini off-road diversions to see rock art sites and lookouts along the way.

Day 4: El Questro Wilderness Park
Stop At: El Questro Wilderness Park, 1 Gibb River Road Durack, Western Australia 6743 Australia
Today, cross the Kimberley’s Pentacost River and make the first stop at a series of crystal clear hot springs known as Zebedee Springs, where you can relax before embarking on an adventurous hike up El Questro Gorge. At the top you will be rewarded with a refreshing swim. Tonight, stay at the famous El Questro station, where you can quench your thirst at the Swinging Arm Bar and rub shoulders with the locals and fellow travelers.

Day 5: Purnululu National Park (Bungle Bungles)
Stop At: Bungle Bungle Range, Purnululu National Park, Western Australia 6743 Australia
This morning your Kimberley adventure continues with a hike in to the Cockburn Ranges to Emma Gorge where you will be able to swim in the cool waters. Make your way to the Bungle Bungles and visit Echidna Chasm and Mini Palms Gorge before setting up camp in Purnululu National Park (Bungle Bungles) in the Kimberley.

Day 6: Bungle Bungle Range, Purnululu National Park, Australia
Stop At: Bungle Bungle Range, Purnululu National Park, Western Australia 6743 Australia
Today hike to Cathedral Gorge as well as Whip Snake Gorge, the Window and Piccaninny Creek Lookout, all in Purnululu National Park (Bungle Bungles). You’ll also have the option to go on a 18-minute helicopter flight (starting from AU$299 per person, depending on group size). Afterwards head to campsite.

Day 7: Lake Argyle Island camping adventure

This morning we make a stop in Kununurra before heading to Lake Argyle, Australia’s largest man-made lake, where we will embark on our Lake Argyle island adventure.

Day 8: Keep River National Park
Stop At: Keep River National Park, Northern Territory Australia
Today visit Gingers Hill in Keep River National Park and learn about some of the local aboriginal history. Then cross the border into the Northern Territory and make a visit to Jubarra (Gregory) National Park, where you will see Gregory’s tree before moving on to the Victoria River region to find some rock art and set up camp for the night.

Day 9: Edith Falls, Katherine
Stop At: Edith Falls, Nitmiluk National Park, Katherine, Northern Territory Australia
On the final day of the Kimberley adventure tour, continue on to Edith Falls for a swim. Your Kimberley tour will end with a final stop at the intriguing Magnetic and Cathedral termite mounds before reaching Darwin.
