Burnewang Trip Overview
Bring your family and friends and create some beautiful memories!
There’s no better way to experience the serenity of the Campaspe River than by cruising at your own pace in a kayak. Enjoy the peace and tranquility and admire the natural bushland while you gently glide across the water.
Bendigo Water Sports offers Mission Surge double kayaks that are 3.9 metres long and 85cm wide. They are very stable and can carry a payload of up to 250kg.
We recommend that you bring a hat, sunscreen, water, snacks and a towel. Paddling can make you hungry, so we recommend bringing snacks such as fruit, nutritional bars, nuts and trail mixes, etc. We recommend popping into the famous award-winning Elmore Bakery to grab some lunch on your way to Ayson’s Reserve!
Check out our website for more paddling hints and suggestions.

Itinerary
We’ll transport you from Ayson’s Reserve to the Elmore Boat Ramp and fit you with a PFD and paddle.
We will then launch you in a kayak where you will paddle for roughly 3 to 4 hours (8km) downstream back to Aysons Reserve. This is a self-guided tour, so can paddle at your own pace. You can stop along the way to admire the wildlife or have a stretch.
