What to Expect When Visiting Byron Bay, New South Wales, Australia

This tour offers an authentic Byron Bay hinterland experience to travellers visiting the Northern Rivers. It allows the community to learn about local products, meet with their local farmers and understand the hard work behind following sustainable farming practices. This is the perfect outdoor activity to discover the beauty of the Northern Rivers and taste the delicious products of the Byron hinterland.

This permaculture workshop will introduce you to an amazing diversity of clumping bamboo plants, teach you about their landscape potential and specific uses for crafts, building and eating. In this workshop you will learn how to split bamboo to make a simple lattice weave.

Morning tea will feature garden produce and home-made preserves as well as local Nimbin specialities including artisan sourdough breads, Nimbin Valley Dairy and Mountain Top Coffee. If you have any dietary requirements, please let us know at least 48h prior to the workshop.

The workshop includes return transportation from your pick-up location in Byron Bay to the Farm.
