Hope Estate is a family owned and operated working winery & brewery set in spectacular grounds. The Estate is also home to the Australia’s largest purpose-built outdoor winery concert amphitheatre that hosts an array of legendary performers each concert season.
Hope Estate is dedicated to making sensational wines and are firm believers in estate-grown varietal wines. Following this philosophy, Hope Brewery opened in 2014, and kicked off their range with a whole lot of hoppy ales, distinctively recognisable by their black cans and amp design – a homage to Hope’s love of music. Since then they’ve been satisfying a desire for new beers and new styles including NEIPAs, sours, trophy-winning stouts and even Australia’s strongest IPA.

The expansive Cellar Door is perched atop a foot hill of the Brokenback Mountain Ranges and is a true must-see site of the Hunter Valley with stunning 360 degree views.
Visitors to our Cellar Door can wander freely through our wine making museum, housed in the original winery and showcasing the Wilkinson Family history and our heritage awarded original open cement vats.
Also on display are various barrel and wine making tools and equipment also exhibited with an audio visual presentation.

Since its arrival at The Entrance in 1930, this historic carousel has delighted our young and old. Arriving in Australia from France in the early 1900s, the carousel has seen a number of owners and is now part of the National Trust classified Haas Family Carnival. It was built in the late 1800s in Germany and originally powered by a pony but was then converted to steam at the turn of the century. It remained steam driven until the 1950s when an old chev. engine was installed and in the 1970s it was converted to electricity. The historic carousel is situated along The Entrance waterfront and is accompanied by other amusement rides that will keep the children entertained.

Long Jetty on the Tuggerah Lakes foreshore.
The only street in The Entrance district to go from the lake to the sea starts in Long Jetty as Toowoon Bay Road.
The jetty after which the town was named is located at the end of Archbold Road. The jetty was opened in 1915 and celebrated 100 years in 2015.
