What makes Bruny Island Small-Group Eco Tour From Hobart a unique experience ?

From Hobart to Bruny Island is about 45 minutes. At the ferry terminal, we expect to hop on the ferry with a mini-bus and have about 20-25 minutes of travel time.

Enjoy the taste of the beautiful local oysters and fresh produce.

Warm shop offering locally produced craft cheeses, beers & bread, with tastings & picnic tables.

There may be 200 or so stairs to climb, but the views are definitely worth it. The Neck Lookout gives you a bird's eye view of the spectacular natural landscape of North and South Bruny Island.

The historic Cape Bruny Lighthouse, built-in 1836, is the only southern Tasmanian lighthouse open for tours. At 114 meters tall, it towers over the spectacular dolerite cliffs of Cape Bruny and offers panoramic views of the rugged South Bruny coastline.

Carved from bush and pastureland on the outskirts of the sleepy little island settlement of Lunawanna on Bruny Island, is Australia’s most southern vineyard, Bruny Island Premium Wines. It is currently owned and operated by Bruny Island-born and bred Bernice Dillon. In 1997 Wayaree Estate was purchased, and in 1998, Bernice’s father John Dillon, which they fondly call the instigator, planted and tended to 1500 vines on the site, which became the first vineyard on Bruny Island. Today, the vineyard boasts 6000 Pinot Noir and Chardonnay vines.

Adventure Bay Bruny Island is known for its beautiful 7km long, east-facing beach. It has a sheltered feel with many large gum trees surrounding the beach and the cliffs of Fluted Cape on the southern end. It’s got a relaxed Australian beach town feel, and unlike many of these towns, it’s managed to keep this vibe without becoming commercialized. Explore Island wild animals such as Echidna, White Wallabies, Quolls, etc.

The Honey Pot and Bruny Island Honey are the houses of honey venues of the Wright family’s proudly run lifelong collaboration between our family, the bees, and the Tasmanian Wilderness.
