The kunanyi / Mt Wellington Explorer bus will pick you up from Hobart’s waterfront before driving up the mountain to the Chalet 1000m above sea level.
The first part of the walk is along the gentle Organ Pipes Track, packed with an array of endemic sub-alpine flowers, with views over Hobart to one side and the towering dolerite cliffs to the other. The second half of our walk descends gently down to the Springs where there is lots of history to discover and enjoy gourmet treats and a hot drink at Lost Freight Cafe.
