What to expect?

The 12 Apostles: Based on the recommended schedule, you will have an hour to explore the 12 Apostles. It’s only a short walk from the car to the viewing platforms.

Seaside towns and villages
Anglesea, Aireys, Lorne, Apollo Bay; with opportunities for coffees, shopping for local produce, ice cream, fish & chips on the beach, or a craft brewery. I will share all the available options, I can make recommendations but it’s your day and ultimately your choice.

Wild animals Koala spotting and bird watching at Kennett River. Kangaroos and native birds could be anywhere!

A brief stop to strectch your legs at the world famous Bells Beach, home of the world’s longest continuously running pro surfing competition.

Time for a coffee in the quiant seaside town of Anglesea, or a short beach walk.
Optional extra: enquire early for information on the Kangaroo Tour at the Anglesea Golf Club, home to around 300 Eastern Grey Kangaroos (at own expense).

Enjoy a shortwalk to the viewing platforms by Split Point lighthouse; a wild coastline with a history of shipwrecks.

Choose from a range of lunch options in the beach holiday town of Lorne: takeaway fish & chips, a classic Aussie pub meal, or a healthy buddha bowl. Alternatively, take the time to shop for local produce and ice cold beers.

One of Australia’s best places to spot Koalas. Scan the eucalyptus trees, high and low, for the best chances of spotting these iconic marsupials. Also a great birdwatching spot.

A quick and final beach town stop before the Great Ocean Road meanders inland through the rainforests of the Great Otway National Park and the Port Campbell National Park.

Witness the dramatic splendour of the 12 Apostles, towering limestone stacks that rise up majestically from the wild Southern Ocean.

With sunset fast approaching, the penuilmate stop is a quick photo opporunity at Loch Ard Gorge, site of a famous 1878 shipwreck.

The final stop before embarking on a direct drive back to your drop-off location, London Bridge is another one of the coastlines famous quirky rock formations.
