Mission beach is a tropical oasis situated 2hrs south of Cairns, the Cassowary coast is famous for thick rainforests and crystal clear waters also known as land of the stingray, where the reef meets the rainforest. We sometimes stumble across the illusive Cassowary, the quirky local on the beach eating coconuts.

What to Expect When Visiting Mission Beach, Queensland, Australia

Mission beach is a tropical oasis situated 2hrs south of Cairns, the Cassowary coast is famous for thick rainforests and crystal clear waters also known as land of the stingray, where the reef meets the rainforest. We sometimes stumble across the illusive Cassowary, the quirky local on the beach eating coconuts.

Itinerary

We start by having safety briefs and demonstrations on the land first, we stretch before we paddle. After our stretch on the beach we talk about safety then we hit the water, once we are in the water we have a water lesson then we paddle. Paddling along the coast line up to Clump point which is about 1.6klm, we find a nice shady place to have a swim and have some local fruit share some history of the land and area then we paddle back to our location. We are on tour about 2.5hrs all your equipment and morning tea is all included.
