Private Truffle Hunting and Tasting in New South Wales

Oallen Trip Overview

Tricia and Rainer purchased their 100-acre farm nestled on the banks of the Shoalhaven River in 2004 as a weekend escape from the city for the family. Rainer a builder and Tricia a National Operations Manager, soon fell in love with the rural lifestyle and it only took about 4 years to turn it into their family home.

We have an open fun approach to life and the beauty of our property but we love to share our knowledge about the truffles.

Our truffle experiences are 2 hours long, you will spend 1 hour in the field watching the dog find truffles underground, we will then smell the ground and carefully dig them out. Hunts can be interactive if you wish to dig out the truffles also. Then we will spend 1 hour seeing them washed and graded and tasting several dishes with fresh truffle in each.

Sample Menu

• Truffle Pana Cotta – A sweet truffle dessert to experience a variety of ways to enjoy truffle.
