Stop At: New South Wales, New South Wales
Pelican feeding. Tens of pelicans congregate for the pelican feeding ritual that takes place every day. What started as an ecological way of disposing of the fish scraps from the local fish shop, now attracts many visitors each day.
One of the main objectives of the pelican feed is to keep an eye on the pelican’s medical conditions as many have hooks and lines tangled up in their gullets, wings and other parts of their body. The feed is a chance for the co-ordinator and volunteers to assess their well being.

Stop At: New South Wales, New South Wales
Between the times that the Pelican Feeding ends and the kangaroos come out there will be a delay (actual time will vary due to sunset time and may be up to an hour). In this time, you will be offered options that may include visiting a sea cave (only possible at low tide), walk along the boardwalk to the baths, a walk around the outside of a lighthouse or dinner at a local cafe.

Participants will search for kangaroos in an urban environment. Remember all those stories about kangaroos hopping down main street. We take you to a town where this happens.
